  I am trying it import from the .com free plan to a selfhosted wordpress site. It puts the youtube shortcode as text instead of code. How to I fix that without editting every post?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi chansmith7,

  Is your new site Jetpack connected?

  I checked one of the YouTube shortcodes from chansmith.home.blog on a test site using WordPress.org software and they worked providing it was Jetpack connected (the shortcode is a WordPress.com feature):

  Jetpack

  Without Jetpack, the shortcode was displayed as text instead.

  This is the temp url to my self hosted wordpress. You can see it just shows as text. I have jetpack installed.

  I got it. There is a setting in jetpack to turn on shortcodes.
