.com to selfhost migration

  I am trying to assign a Name Server for my wordpress.com so that I can self host. I have already assigned 2 custom server names I acquired at HostGator.com under “Domains” in my set up page in wordpress.com.

  I am not sure if this has taken to affect and when I check my url at “runhealthymom.com”, it still takes me to the wordpress.com website instead of .org. Is there anything I need to do on the .com site to move on with my project to migrate over to self hosting?

  P.S. I contacted Hostgator and they told me that I need to check with WordPress to find out how to change my name server
