.com vs .org | my sites|profile

    I am hoping to attend WordCamp in Seattle this year, to learn more. I started WP with my MauiFoodWineandMore.com (in WP.com) then discovered WP.org. I now have several sites in .org both here at work and for myself. I let go of the Restaurant site as we are busy and it was time consuming.
    Anyway, I tried to subscribe to Seattle WPCamp and it came back saying ‘Your subscription could not be activated, it may have expired.’ I am now updating my profile. You seem to have an email i do not use anymore, yet it seemed to know who i was with my current email address.
    I am trying to consolidate my profiles and be able to subscribe to WP camps etc. Can you have a WP.org ‘Account’ or just Profile?
