combine and maximize my domains
-
Hello, First, I’d like to know (kinda like the chicken or the egg question), which came first WordPress or GoDaddy? Anyway, turning towards my concern…I have multiple domains with GoDaddy. Two sites with wordpress, but my only active and useful website is hosted with Bandzoogle. I wanted to speak to someone to discuss the best strategy to bring my domains together to start utilizing and monetizing them.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi islandgirldeannadove,
I wanted to speak to someone to discuss the best strategy to bring my domains together to start utilizing and monetizing them.
You mention having multiple domains. Do you want to add a custom domain to either of your WordPress.com sites?
Or are you looking to transfer these domains from GoDaddy to WordPress.com and manage them through your account here?
Just let me know and I can look at your options.

To use a domain registered elsewhere with a WordPress.com site you can either map the domain here while leaving it registered at the other provider, or you can transfer the domain registration to us completely, meaning we become your domain provider. Either of these will require the WordPress.com site to have a paid plan – all our plans include one free domain.
You can add as many domains as you want to a single WordPress.com site, but the first domain requires a paid plan. Adding additional domains will be charged per-domain.
If you want to add domains to more than on WordPress.com site you will need a paid plan for each site you wish to connect to a domain.
You can find detailed instructions on both transferring and mapping domains to WordPress.com here:
Transferring a domain you already own to WordPress.com
Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)
Note that this only applies to WordPress.com. If you want to use the domains with sites hosted elsewhere and using the open source WordPress software, you need to speak to your hosting provider.
