I have set up two separate wordpress blogs, with different user names, at different times. Is there a way to combine them under one account?

    Thank you…

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do both “personas” have blogs? If so then you can transfer the blogs to one of them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Also note that there is no way to delete WordPress.com accounts. Before you contact support, please understand that there are no security risks associated with this policy. They just remain “inactive”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

Also note that I answered based on the assumption you are referring to a wordpress.COM blog and NOT the one linked to your username above, as it does not appear to be a wordpress.COM blog.

hello, i too have this problem… i sent the support an e-mail some days ago, and recieved a response… i was given instructions to ‘change api key’. with misgivings i followed the instructions – and now i cannot access either blog.. i am soooo crying. i don’t know what to do, and i have been shut out of both..
i have just read the ‘transfer’ instructions, but this requires a new registration, whereas the blog i have is already in existence..
if there is any kind, wise advice on offer i would love to hear it; there has to be a way, surely ! with warm regards.. jo

    @joannecareybradshaw
Let’s be clear here – wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG are separate and different. They run on different software and this support forum is ONLY for those who have issues with free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. This entry explains the differences between the two. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

Are you referring to two wordpress.COM blogs? How can we tell without the urls? Please post the urls for the blogs you are referring to starting with http:// so Staff will have them.

thank you so very much for your quick response. i really, really appreciate this.

I signed up for:http://justjo.uwcblog.com/wp-login.php?loggedout=true initailly.. I was a total newbie, and learning so was learning, and had not done anything with the site except naming it.

    I then signed up for:http://empoweringmindset.com/wp-login.php?loggedout=true .

i then discovered i needed an api key and so registered with wordpress itself.

my second (above) site showed up on my global dash, but the 1st wasn’t llsted, even though I could access it via its own U/name +p/word

the api key was applied to the empoweringmindset blog. When i attempted to use it for the justjo one i recieved a message to say ‘bad key”

i contacted support.. and two notes later,, recieved instructions to ‘change api key’

I did this last night.. now, i am in the situation as explained in my first post..

We volunteers do not have backend access to wordpress.COM blogs. Only Staff do and they are on “holiday hours”. As you have already been in communication with Staff I think using that same email address to follow up and update them is the way to go. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Thanks, timetheif, you response looks like just what I’m looking for—I’ll check it out. My question did concern two wp.COM blogs. (although you are correct: the link is to a drupal website, rather than a blog).
