Combing wordpress.org and wordpress.com blogs

I have two blogs, and just figured out one is wordpress.com and the other on wordpress.org. I created the .com one by myself and the .org one through my hosting package at Network Solutions. My username and password are the same for each. I ASSUMED that they would point to the same wordpress blog. I banged my head on the keyboard for a good hour before I figured out why both don’t appear under my dashboard. Duh. So,

    1) I know the answer is probably no, but is there a way to access them both through the same dashboard? I am guessing that I was able to select the same username/pwd because I registered both on .com and the other .org?

    2) Is it possible that I can have one blog point to the other so I am not maintaining two for the same thing?

    What a fine mess (laughing).

    Thanks!

Do you want one blog or two? If you want one, decide which and delete the other. Read the sticky thread at the top of the forum to help you decide which will suit you better. If you want two, but you want people to be able to get from one to the other, add links in your sidebar, or even a fake page tab (this is theme dependent).

Oh, and you can set your WP.com blog to point to a different URL, but not if that URL is already taken (which it will be since you have set up a WP.org blog there).

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to keep both if it wasn’t a problem connecting them, but it seems it is.

    Thank you
