Combining accounts/blogs into/under one account

    Hi, I created another account when I already had one. I see that you cannot delete an account but I would like to combine my new blog/account into my first one. I could not figure out how to do this with the instructions provided, or if it can be done. If there is now a way to delete an account, I would prefer that. I would like to keep the same url I created on the second account. I want to do this to make things easier for me because I can see you can create more than one blog under an account. Thank you.

    Hi there. You can transfer ownership of your blog in the account you don’t want to use to the other account. That way both blogs will be in the same account. And you’ll use the same username to post and comment on both.

    Make sure you are logged in under the same username that created the blog you want to move. Go to the My Blogs page in the dashboard and click on the Transfer Blog link under the blog title. Be aware that this process cannot be reversed and you will no longer have access to the blog once you click the link in the confirmation email.     Another option is to invite your main account as an admin on the blog of the second account. That way you can manage both blogs from one account, but let’s say you want to leave a comment under the second account’s username, you can do so by logging out of your main account and logging in to the second account. You’ll also be able to set either username as author when creating a post.

    Again, make sure you’re logged in under the secondary account, go to Users ->Add New in the dashboard and invite your main account as a user. Log back in to your main account, accept the invite, and both blogs should now appear in your My Blogs page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
