Combining Blog, Website & Store

I have my own domain name for my website – it is with google pages. I LOVE my WordPress blog & I have a Big Cartel store. I would like to move away from google pages & I understand I will need to get a new host for my domain. What I would really like is the ease & comfort of my WordPress blog for my website BUT I don’t want to loose my blog name, although it is different from my domain name. I also understand (I think) that I can pull my store into my website so that it “appears” the same? So question is, would I be able to pull all 3 together to appear like my blog does now? I would love to speak further with someone about this.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will have to, because that’s not enough detail.

If you want to do ecommerce, you won’t be able to do that a WordPress.com. You’ll have to buy hosting, install software from WordPress.org, and import your blog contents there and install a store.

Buy hosting from where? Like go daddy or something? Does the software from WP.org cost? How would I install a store? What would you suggest for keeping/using my blog name which is separate but a part of my website? I you go to my blog and navigate your way around I think you may understand a bit more what I mean. From the blog you can get to the website & to the store

Actually, looking at the site you ARE allowed to sell those things here, so you don’t need external hosting just because of the store.

okay, but still how would I move my domain & blog together? Would I need to get a separate “domain name” for my blog, so that it’s not .wordpress.com? It’s all so confusing. I’ve seen blogs that you can then click on the store and it zips you right over to a store that syncs up with the blog, I’d like something like that for GRR & my blog and then the store. I can’t do that with anything that I have right now. They are all to separate. Maybe I am not explaining things the right way?

The ONLY way to do all of that is to buy hosting from somewhere and install WordPress.org software and ecommerce software and so on. I’m not sure you’re ready to do that yet.

Let’s make this easy on other volunteers who have things to contribute: Please give us the exact URLs of your blog, your website, and your store, all starting with http.
