Combining .com and self hosted login

  • Unknown's avatar

Many years ago I created a .com account in case I wanted to switch from blogger. Then in 2018, I did switch, but to self hosted. I have used the same email for both but they’re separate accounts. Can these be combined because I cannot view my stats on my self hosted site without it prompting me to login to the .com account.

Hi there, AFAIK that automatically happens if you have jetpack installed on your WP site. There’s more information at https://jetpack.com/support/sso/

Otherwise, you might want to ask in the forums for self-hosted WP sites at https://wordpress.org/support/forums

I’ve also flagged this thread for Staff input.

You can connect your site to the WordPress.com account you’re currently logged in (@6szrw9rq8a). Then Stats and all the other Jetpack features will be enabled.

Instructions on how to do that can be found here:

    Jetpack
