combining online appearances

  I currently have a blogger with Google. I also have a website which is much older than my blog site. I would like to be able to combine the blog and the website so they are more easily accessible through each other. Is this something I can do with WordPress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @ramonacandyart, sure, the appearance would likely be different, but let’s get the content moved in, then you can work on how it looks.

  Here’s how to import from blogger into WordPress.com:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/coming-from-blogger/

  Is your other site just HTML? If so you can copy and paste the content into pages. I’d treat it as though you are pasting from a Word document, too, just so you don’t run into trouble with the code you’d be pasting otherwise:

  Glad to see you might be joining us – welcome!

  You can move the Blogger files to your WordPress site by following the directions in:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/coming-from-blogger/

  Since you don’t give us any information on your web page, all we can give for advice is pretty generic…

  If the other site happens to be a WordPress powered site at another hosting provider, the process will be similar to the Blogger procedure. See:

  If you did your other site “old school” coding it from HTML, you could download the media contents to your computer via FTP and save the pages as text files so you have the words. If you do not have lot of pages, perhaps print them (or save as .PDF ;) ) so you can reconstruct them.

  If you posted a link to your web site, one of us could take a look and see what format, style, etc so we could better advise you what might be the easiest way to accomplish this.
