Combining Self-Hosted and WordPress Blog

    Hello so I originally started a blog “Labyrintharchive.wordpress.com” made no posts and then decided to buy a hosting package on a separate platform, hence “labyrintharchive.com”.

    I no longer need the URL “Labyrintharchive.wordpress.com”, however if I ever run short on money and need to stop self-hosting I will need to go back to Labyrintharchive.wordpress.com rather than Labyrintharchive.com.

    Is there a way to “combine” the WordPress site with the self-hosted? Or am I forced just to keep an empty blog forever to keep the URL?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Yes keep the free empty blog here at WordPress.com. It won’t cost you a penny and you can even set it to private if you wish. You can’t “combine” it and deleting it will mean you lose the address forever. Who knows, you may tire of paying some other company where you no doubt have to maintain/secure the site all by yourself and be glad to come back here to a secure free site.
