Do you want to export the content out of one blog and import it into the other one? If so see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

I’m happy to help you with this. Let me summarize first, to make sure I understand the outcome you are hoping for.
It looks like you have two separate sites both titled “Postcards From a Semi-Mad Woman.” One is a self-hosted site with the URL http://itsnowgirl.com/, the other is a WordPress.com hosted site with the URL https://mebshu14blog.wordpress.com/.
The self-hosted site (http://itsnowgirl.com) has your older writing and your WordPress.com hosted site (https://mebshu14blog.wordpress.com/) has the newer posts.
If you would like to have just one site to manage, here’s what I recommend:
- Import posts from your self-hosted site to your WordPress.com hosted site.
- Map the domain from your self-hosted site to your WordPress.com hosted site (the upgrade cost for this is $13 per year)
Once both of those steps are done, you’ll continue to manage your site on WordPress.com like you do for https://mebshu14blog.wordpress.com/ but your site’s address or URL will be http://itsnowgirl.com/. All of your posts from both sites will be in the same place.
If that’s the outcome you were looking for, let me know and I can help walk you through the steps required to get there.

Excellent.
The first step is to export your content from your Self-hosted site. These instructions should help you do that:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/These instructions are for Exporting a WordPress.com site, but assuming your self-hosted WordPress site is up to date, the process should be the same.
Let me know if you run into any trouble and I’ll be happy to help you get un-stuck.
Once you have the export file, I’ll send you the instruction on importing it to your WordPress.com site :)

Stuck already😳 itsnowgirl has been downloaded to an export file as per the instructions. I paid a domain site to host it. What do I do to make sure WordPress is hosting? What does the$13 cover? Will I need to pay another fee for hosting. I can write but the technical stuff makes my brain melt😱

What do I do to make sure WordPress is hosting?
This is taken care of. WordPress.com is already hosting mebshu14blog.wordpress.com. All we are doing adding your posts from your old site to your new site and then taking the name of your old site and adding it to your new site.
What does the$13 cover?
This covers the domain mapping–which is how a web browser know when a v users types the url http://itsnowgirl.com/ into the address bar, it should take them to your new site on WordPress.com
Will I need to pay another fee for hosting?
Hosting is free on WordPress.com, so you won’t have to worry about this. Once we have everything moved over and working the way you want, you can cancel your current hosting service.
If you have the export file, the next step is to import it into your WordPress.com site.
Here’s how that works:
Let me know if you have any trouble with the import step, and I’ll be happy to help!
Forgot to thank you lizthefair!
No worries! I’m happy to help :)

I chose the WordPress option and it is now importing WordPress it says they are processing my import now and will send an email when done. How long should this take? When and where do I pay the $13? I guess we rename after it is done importing. Just call me nervous as I wait😱thank you, again!

Success! Now if you could walk me thru changing the name to Postcards across the board I think j will be in business or at least off to a bangin start thanks to you!!!
-
The next step is to map your domain to your new site. Here are the instructions for that.
This is a somewhat technical process, so if you have any trouble, let me know which step in the process is causing you trouble and I’ll be happy to walk you through it.

I have been on the domain page for the past hour. I have an email attached to “itsnowgirl.com” I do not want to lose. Postcards from a semi mad woman does not although I want that to be my primary address. When I typed the name in and I tried both it said not valid??? Also when I google Postcards from a semi-mad woman my site no longer comes up?? Will mapping fix this. Finally once we get past this should I buy the 99.00 truly pkg will that make a huge difference? Thanks again for helping me

I think there may be some confusion here. Let me try to clear that up.
“Postcards from a semi mad woman” is your blog’s title. It was actually the title you used on both sites, but it’s not a url or domain.
Right now you have two domains/urls. One is
https://mebshu14blog.wordpress.com/ and it points to your newer, WordPress.com hosted site. You also have the domain/url http://itsnowgirl.com/.
Right now that domain points to your old site.
The goal of domain mapping is to make it so both addresses,
http://itsnowgirl.com/ and https://mebshu14blog.wordpress.com/ point to the content that exists on your new, WordPress.com hosted site.Does that match your understanding of what we are doing?
I have been on the domain page for the past hour.
Could you send me the link to the page you mean? That will help me understand where you got stuck.
I have an email attached to “itsnowgirl.com” I do not want to lose.
We can keep your e-mail working, it just requires an extra step.
Finally once we get past this should I buy the 99.00 truly pkg will that make a huge difference?
It depends on what you want to do with the new site. Also, domain mapping and a new domain name (if you want one) are included in the premium package. If you are thinking about upgrading, we should talk about that before you map your domain.
Here’s what you get with the premium upgrade:

You are right I am confused.
I own the name Postcards from a semi-mad woman.com thru go-daddyI had initially planned on calling the blog itsnowgirl and I own that too thru go daddy I did add an email to itsnowgirl don’t think I will need it if I can get everything to map to Postcards
My goal is to have everything under Postcards from a semi-mad woman I am currently on the Domains page and “postcards” is ready for me to put credit card info in for either 13 or 99

I own the name Postcards from a semi-mad woman.com thru go-daddy
This is the piece of the puzzle I didn’t understand. Thanks for the additional information. your domain name will be all one word so if you are adding “Postcards from a semi-mad woman.com” exactly like that, it won’t work. You’ll want to check again with GoDaddy and see exactly how you typed the domain name. It could be Postcardsfromasemi-madwoman.com or Postcards-from-a-semi-mad-woman.com or Even Postcards_from_a_semi-mad_woman.com. Once you remember the exact domain things will go better.
I am currently on the Domains page and “postcards” is ready for me to put credit card info in for either 13 or 99
If you are sure you want the extra features available in Premium, you should go-head and purchase the full package now.
