combining two sites

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a site with the URL footfalcon.com that i recently created and paid for. I also have a site with the URL https://footfalcon.wordpress.com/ . I want these to be combined so that the site I have developed that is currently https://footfalcon.wordpress.com/ becomes footfalcon.com and the new site that has nothing on it called footfalcon.com doesn’t need to exist.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

The site https://footfalcon.wordpress.com/ is owned by a different WordPress.com account. Do you want to transfer ownership of the domain footfalcon.com to that WordPress.com account?

If so, I can go ahead and transfer the domain to that account and that site for you. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

(I also saw that you opened a couple other support requests about the live chat help feature. If there aren’t any staff members available to chat, you won’t see that as a help option, but we’ll help you here as soon as possible!)

    Hi Rachel
Yes I would like you to do that. So the Foot Falcon site that is developed is to have the footfalcon.com url. The foot falcon site I have just created that currently has the footfalcon.com url but nothing posted on it, I don’t want it any more. I just want the footfalcon site that is developed.

Thanks for the live chat info too.

    Linda

    Cheers
    Linda

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for confirming that — I just transferred the domain to the other user and site: http://footfalcon.com/

You can log in to that WordPress.com account to manage the site and that domain now.

Since you don’t want the other site (footfalcondotnet.wordpress.com) you can now delete that site permanently if you want. You can start that process under Tools > Delete Site in the site’s dashboard.

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
