Comet theme – adding menu to footer area
-
I would like to put a duplicate of my menu at the bottom of my page. Using the “inspect element ” of my browser I have copied it where I would like to place it, which is just below
<!– /content –> and above <div id=”footer”> but I am unclear how to do this using CSS.I currently have both the primary and secondary menus visible on my page simply for reference if necessary, but I plan to have the main menu hidden.
I will happily remove and arm beat myself about the head and neck repeatedly as payment for your answer.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m sorry but it’s not possible to add HTML to your site, which is what you would need to do to get the menu at the bottom as well.
However, what you can do is apply a theme that allows a Footer Widget (which Comet – your current theme – does not).
Within the Footer widget you wouldn’t be able to create an exact replica of your menu, but you can add links to the pages in your menu to the footer using the Text Widget.
Some of the themes that support footer widgets can be found here:

Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Blah, I was afraid that was the case. But you still remain my hero! And now I must be off to beat myself up and then browse those themes. Thank you again, Grace!
