Comet theme transparency question
-
The frustration level is off the charts. I am new so I beg your forgiveness in advance.
I have perused the forums and have attempted to apply the CSS changes that I have come across that I thought should change what I'[m wanting to change, but once I apply them, the white areas remain white, so I’m clearly doing something wrong. I’ve since cleared the CSS area until I can put what actually belongs there properly.
I would like to change all the white areas on my site, to transparent, or very close to it. (menu, content area, widgets, etc.)
Any help is greatly appreciated! A good swift kick in the pants would be alright as well.

Hi there,
Please note that the CSS is very much dependent on the theme, so if you are getting the CSS from someone using a different theme, there’s a good chance it will not work.
But no worries! I took a look at your theme, and found that this should work to make all the white space on your site transparent:
#c2, .menu, .comment-body, .sticky, .widget { background: transparent; }Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Oh, Grace, you are a Goddess! You are my favorite person of the day! Thank you so very much! With a little luck and a little more patience tomorrow, I can go in and look at what this has changed and hopefully start grasping this CSS thing. Thank you again!!!
