  How do I get rid of the ‘coming soon’ page? I do not want to pay for a domain and that is the only option shown.

  You will need to start making posts and pages to not see the coming soon page.

  Hey @mirrorjimmij,

  After clicking the “Launch site” button, when you reach the page where you’re prompted to pick a domain, just type anything in the domain search field and you’ll see a “skip the domain purchase” at the bottom.

  Hey @ryrhino00,

  Making a new post or page won’t fix the “Coming soon” page issue.

  Even if no posts or pages are present, the site won’t be displayed until it is launched(in case of a new site) or changed to “Public” in the privacy option.

  Skipping the purchase seems to have worked. Thank you.
  A long, long time ago the process was clearer for a simpleton like me.
