Hi – at the very beginning, I’m afraid, but cannot progress no matter what I do… I’ve simply given my experimental homepage a title and a couple of lines, then hit “Publish”.
It seems to be telling me that all is OK, but if I try to access the link via any browser, I get the “Coming soon” message.I also find communications with the server excruciatingly slow, though my broadband speed is around 6MB/s upload.

OK, this is all a bit weird. Every time I try to reply to you, it seems to go, but then doesn’t appear on screen (even if I refresh).
So I enter it again, and afer about the 4th attempt, it says “ERROR: Duplicate reply detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!”
I’m very confused by all this.

OK, this time I just typed the domain name in, and it still doesn’t show… is this some sort of security feature or something???

Looks like your replies got caught in the Spam filter but we can see all of them :)
So, your site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
