Comma as decimal delimiter using LaTeX in WordPress

When trying to get familiar with LaTeX in WordPress blogs I have recognised a difference in layout if I use comma as a decimal delimiter, which is international standard according to ISO, compared to if I use a period. Using a comma, the space beween the delimiter and the first decimal gets a bit to large. Is there a way to tell the system that I want the comma to be taken as a decimal delimiter?
I have no previous experience with LaTeX in stand alone systems and am trying to approach it this way. If this is a localisation issue, Sweden and Swedish is my country and language. Well, it is my country and language anyway.

I finally found a solution which I have tested in my wordpress blog above.
$pi = 3{,}1415ldots$
I found it by following the link to the German FAQ at:
