  I want to close this acct. It was not set up by me and request reset password site came to email acct of mine not ever could be associated with this acct. Email acct of mine came to is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I do not use this address for anything but to get email + not send email. Criminals must be attempting to harm WordPress + duck.com which is illegal.

  Hi there,

  This account was created over 6 years ago, and it’s verified, so whoever created it, also had access to your email at the time. It was originally created with a Gmail address, but was changed to the duck.com email you mention above around four months ago. That change was also verified, so the person who did that also had access to your duck.com email.

  But if you don’t want this account, you can close it from the account settings page at https://wordpress.com/me/account
