comment activity

wouldn’t it be great if wordpress could monitor a user’s comment activity? for example, if i have commented on another wordpress blog, there will be a link in my dashboard, so in a couple of days time i can go back to the blog i’ve commented for replies from the blogger. sometimes i click on the latest posts in the dashboard and leave comments but i never keep track of the blog address. this would be even better if it could track comment activity on other blog hosts as well.

actually it would be nice and convenient to have such a function but since i’ve learn of cocomment it’s not necessary anymore is it? i’d rather wordpress include more themes =) i really miss those new ones every other week

it’s been a couple of weeks since i’ve signed up for cocomment – while it is exactly the function i’m looking for, it’s proved quite useless so far because everytime i comment i keep forgetting to click on the link! -_- if wp plans to make a widget of it, maybe have it auto-detect whenever one comments while logged in.

You could also cheat and do a “link:mysite.wordpress.com” search over at MSN as they do not obey the “nofollow” tag found in comments. Might not hit every one but it should come close.

nosysnoop: nah, i think i’d just suffer here at wp. :-) good to know though.
drmike: that sounds useful. i will try that, thanks.
