Comment Approval
-
The client I am working with on this site is requesting that all comment email notifications and approvals be sent to her only and not the authors. Is this possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Just to clarify, is your client already an administrator and receiving comment notification emails? If they are already an administrator but not receiving emails, first have them log into their WordPress.com administration account and then check the Settings → Discussion page to make sure email notifications are turned on.
Authors will receive comment notifications for, and can moderate comments on, only posts for which they’re the “author”. I don’t think it’s possible for administrators to prevent authors from receiving comment notification emails, as defined by the role of “author” on the User Roles support page.
One way around this might be to make change the authors’ roles to to “contributor”. Nothing on the User Roles support page indicates contributors receive comment notification emails. That said making an author a contributor will limit their access in other ways your client might want to know about.
