Comment awaiting moderation

  When I make a comment on a friend’s blog, before it will post it says your comment is awaiting moderation. Is this normal? It has happened the last two times I made a comment. I don’t remember it happening before that. Any clues? Thanks!

  The site admin can require all comments to be moderated – common practice to make sure 100% of the spam is stopped and keep private info private in case someone leaves sensitive info in a comment

  I require all comments to be moderated – but some high traffic sites don’t
