Comment being caught as spam that is not spam
-
I have one commenter on my blog whose comments have been getting caught in my spam folder since yesterday, but he has been a regular commenter on my blog and is certainly not spam. Is there a way for me to take him off of the “spam list?” I have approved his comments, but he is still being marked as spam.
Thanks for your replies.

Same with me, I have my comment settings to moderate first comment, then allow without moderation after that, but this one guy keeps getting sent to spam. Has been happening for about three days now. Anyone have any ideas?

I’m having this ‘false positive’ problem too, but the comment doesn’t appear in the spam queue either, so there’s no way (that I can see) to mark it ‘not spam’.

The only comments that Akismet deletes outright (and doesn’t show in the spam queue) are comments from sources that are “known” serial spammers.
Contact the person making the comment and have them make another one and see if it shows in the spam folder.
Also, contact http://akismet.com directly and ask them to intervene if the person is getting caught.
