comment block does not appear on home page (the posts) page

Comments, nor categories appear on the home page which happens to be the new posts page. When I preview the page, it appears. I understand that the preview goes to the page address wher that particular page is individually posted. But, if someone visits the site an is on the home (blog) page, how can they see the category it belongs to, or how can they comment, when there is no place to comment from the home (recent posts) page? I’m using the premium theme Scrollider.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
The design of Scollider is set to not display post categories or comments on the home page. There are a couple of ways to encourage viewers to click through to the post page and have the comments field available.
One is when writing the post, add a “more tag” at a point midway in the post to create a link on the home page inviting viewers to click to continue reading. To insert the break, place your cursor where you’d like the break to be and click the icon just to the left of the spelling check icon in the editor. Our support page has screenshots too: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
Regarding the Categories, have you considered adding Category links to one of your menus? It wouldn’t specify that a post was a part of a specific category, but would allow visits to find all of the posts that you categorized.
Lastly, the developers behind the Scrollider theme have their own forum, so you can get advice/suggestions directly from them too. The link there is http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/scrollider-express
Thanks for using WordPress.com!
