  I am trying to remove completely the comment box and I followed all the instructions on http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
  But the comment box will not disappear…

  help please!

  The first part of that article discusses how to disable comments on future posts and pages. It won’t affect posts or pages which have already been published.

  Did you use the bulk edit method for published posts and pages?
  You can also edit each page or post one by one using the discussion module on each individual edit post (page). Remember to update.
