  I cannot figure out how to add a comment box for people to comment on my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I wonder if it is a “feature” of the theme (Hew) that you are using. If you click on the headings of your posts and scroll down then you’ll see the comment box. Clicking on the three dots top left (whoever thought that symbol was a good idea?) will see an option to follow you.
