comment box is too small

  Yo,
  The blog I’m working on is contingent on volunteers submitting a comment about why they build. Check it out here: http://whyibuild.wordpress.com/

  The problem, as you’ll see when you scroll down, is the comment box is crazy small. So small that you can’t really see what you’re writing. Is there some setting I’m missing that would normalize that size?

  Also, sorry if this is a duplicate. I scoured the forum before posting and I couldn’t find an answer.

  I have never seen the comment box with that hashtag that’s only for Twitter on it. I tagged this thread for Theme Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  Yeah, our campaign is called #whyibuild. It will be used predominantly on social media, so we’re hoping people remember to use the hashtag so we can aggregate the responses. I just renamed the comment title with a hashtag instead of the default.

  I think that Twitter hashtag is screwing things up. One cannot embed a hashtag in a post or page URL embedded in it and I assume that’s what’s what screwed this up. However, Staff will address that when they get to this thread. In the meanwhile I suggest editing the post and removing the hashtag to see whether or not that restores everything to normal.

  Sorry about the confused sentence above. Please try removing the hashtag that does not belong in a post title and see if that corrects the issue.

  Just tried removing the hashtag from the comment prompt and it’s still yielding the same issue. Thanks for trying, timetheif.

  Just tried changing the theme and it’s not a theme issue. I’m having the same issue across all theme platforms. The comment box is too small and there is no way to submit the comment.

  I changed the page to a post and I’ll call it good. I still think there is an issue with the comment feature on a page. But I resolved my own issue in this case.
