Comment box missing
-
Hi,
I created my blog, but the comment section is missing. People are unable post their comments.
I have allowed comments on my website, but the comment box is nowhere to be found. Please help.

Hey there Hopiho!
Now there’s a couple reasons why your comment box might be missing, so if you could bear with hopefully one of these suggestions will work!
Your comments may be completely disabled, to see if that is the case please go to My sites -> Settings and click on “Discussion” from the top menu. From there you should see a heading called “Default Article Settings,” be sure that “Allow people to comment on new articles” is enabled (blue!)
More on enabling/disabling comments here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments-for-future-posts-pages/
Now if that was enabled, then we’re going to have to look at each individual post. Go My Sites ->Blog Posts and then click on the first post you want to look at. Click on “Post Settings” in the top right corner to open the side menu. From there, scroll down until you see the heading “Discussion.” be sure that “Allow comments” is checked. If this was in fact the problem, you can then go to the rest of your posts and repeat these steps!
I hope one of these suggestions will do the trick for and get those discussions going on your site! Cheers!
