Comment boxes not appearing
-
I’ve just upgraded to the ‘on demand’ theme, alas.. not sure now as I miss the iTheme2 one, lol.
The comments, nor comment boxes are appearing on ‘pages’..? Is this a glitch? As I’m hoping to fix it.
Not very css knowledgeable, although I did also get the custom upgrade for the fonts.. do you have to pay every year to keep it, or does it stay the way you change the fonts, etc?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have since changed my theme, to the ‘Lens’ theme.. but before I request a refund, would like to know if there’s an answer there.. as may transfer the theme to another blog.. :)

All WordPress.com blogs, regardless of the theme and by default have comments on all pages and posts open. If they are not enabled then enable them please.
By default, new blogs on WordPress.com will have the Discussion hidden. You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules
All WordPress blogs by default have comments open on all Pages and Posts. You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

On Demand is a premium theme and part of what you paid for is support directly form the theme designer in the premium support forums. The premium theme forums are at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/ with separate sections for each theme. http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/on-demand
There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard

Thanks so much TT!
I had checked the discussion / comments area, it was the first thing I did.. As the comments were functioning fine on pages before I changed the theme.
Where you click on ‘all pages’, I could see the comment ‘numbers’.. they simply were not showing on the various pages.
Also, when I viewed said pages in ‘Edit Page’.. scrolling down, the comments were not showing up as they do with the ‘Posts’.
I had completely forgotten about the ‘Screen Options’ while in ‘Edit
mode’ ~ so Thank You so much! It will be more than useful in the future, for some posts / pages to deal with them Individually.I may then at some point use it for another of my blogs.. Because I am absolutely blown away with ‘Lens’ for my main blog now :) It’s so Smooth with the transfer, and all the images / layout and fonts, worked like a dream!
On Demand needed some ‘tweaking’ I didn’t have time for.. like the way it ‘dealt’ with various carousels and images, even some fonts colors ~ seemed to be ‘colored’ for some headings whilst not for others.. etc etc.. so there were more than a few reasons I changed to Lens and love my blog now.. It was becoming cumbersome with the iTheme2 style because of my somewhat lengthy posts.. Apologies for rambling on somewhat; the On Demand may suit another of my blogs that is a little less ‘all consuming’.. lol, I did like it’s style.
All the best, and again thanks for your prompt reply!
Sasha
ps: had not known about the Premium Support Forums, Wonderful :)
