Everyone on my blogroll (more than 50 bloggers) are having this trouble.
Today is not the day for support to close up shop and go to the beach.

@ublegende: Is your avatar Ron Jeremy?!
-
Yes, that’s him :) . We have an internal joke about some celebs and, for example, one friend’s avatar is Adriano Leite Ribeiro and so on… ;)

I’ll throw us into the same ring — comment counter not working. I suppose we just wait – I would assume they are aware of the problem. http://netpicks.wordpress.com

This seems to be resolved on my blog:
http://urbansemiotic.com/2007/08/10/mixed-martial-arts-the-bloodthirsty-bloodsport
Now correctly showing 33 Comments as of this moment.
Yay!
THANKS BARRY!

Comments are now just fine, but there’s a funny situation : my own comments are reported as spam, so I have to “unspam” them so they can appear on site. What’s that??
Thank you in advance.

That’s a very different issue, but not uncommon. I got put in Spam last night, too. Akismet sometimes tightens up a bit too much after a spam attack and mistakenly puts you in the queue. Just un-spam yourself and don’t comment on other people’s blogs until you can see your own comments are accepted on your own blog. Then you have taught Akismet that you are not spam.

Hi there,
You are not alone. Others have posted about this too https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=18246 Staff do monitor these threads and, although we have been experiencing difficulties (see sticky post at the head of the forum) and they are very busy, I’m sure they will get to your blog when they can.
Cheers
