  The Comment Counter with each post displays a beginning of “No Comments” which is confusing my visitors by making them think that I don’t allow comments? I have been leaving a comment myself on each post to get it to read “1 Comment”. Kinda time consuming and annoying… Is there a way to change the “no” to a “0 =zero”?

  I have exactly the same problem. A lot of visitors have thought that “no comments” means there are no comments allowed. Please can you let me know it there is a resolution to this problem as I think it is quite and important factor for me as I am posting my own poetry and I am getting very little feed back even though I am getting visitors.

  You can add a relevant note in your static front page. Or you can switch to a different theme: in some themes the tab is “Leave a comment” or “Leave a reply”.

  Thanks. I don’t really want to change the theme as I particularly like it. It just seems like the people who created the theme have made a really bad choice of words. I wonder if it is possible for them to adapt the theme as there are obviously others who are having similar problems?

  I agree that “no comments” is not the best wording the the designers could have chosen, but it’s unlikely that it will change. Once themes are up and active, they are usually not changed.

  Tedious, but you could make your own comment on each post to say that you welcome comments from readers. Then “no comments” will change to “1 comment.”

  Yes it seems unlikely that it will be changed but it is only a small change and I cannot really see that it would affect a user adversly if 0 was used instead of the work no and I am obviously not the only one to ask this question. The theme is the only one that has the colours and lay out that I like which is important to my site. Also there not may themes which take up the whole page which I definitely want and not some column down the middle. It is not really practical for me to put a comment in each post as they are mainly poems and there are loads of them. I might think about putting comments in some of them though as a second best option.
