Comment disappeared

Someone called Charles left me a comment on my blog (https://semperfidem2004.wordpress.com/2017/11/07/a-ponzi-scheme-feeding-on-a-ponzi-scheme-the-2008-crisis-revisited/). When I responded to the comment it disappeared. What happened?

Is this the one you are looking for? I can’t see any issues with the comment area on your site so if you didn’t delete the comment, it may have been a glitch. But do let us know if it happens again.

Hi, thanks Gemma, that helps. I merely responded and the comment disappeared. I didn’t click delete. I find a lot of glitches answering comments in wordpress. The cursor disappears, your text disappears, you exit the comment – all while you’re minding your business and typing your answer. Hope that helps, SF

Do you reply to these comments directly on your posts, at My Sites ->Comments, at Comments in WP-Admin, or via the notifications drop-down?
Can you also try using a completely different browser for a while to respond to comments, and see if it keeps happening when you do that?
We haven’t had any other reports of the types of issues you’re describing, so it would be good to try and narrow down exactly what is causing this. In order to fix it, we’ll first need to have reliable steps to replicate the issue.

Hi there. I reply in notifications and then comments. I have used Chrome after big problems with both Firefox and Edge. Thanks, SF
