Comment disappears

  I have written a comment (it would be the second to one particular post) three times and three times it has disappeared. I just put up a new post and made two comments; both of those are still there, so it appears to be just the one post. I looked in the Akismet Spam and they weren’t there. Then just as I was writing this, I looked again, and Voila! the three comments appear as Caught Spam. So I retrieved them.

  What’s going on? Happy to have found them, but wondered there for a minute if I was losing touch with reality…I write, submit, and it disappears!

  sounds like the occasional bug. you could report to feedback but chances are this shouldn’t happen anymore.

  There seems to be a lag when comments that are caught show up in Akismet. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. I’d report it.

  Make sure you’re also marking these caught comments as not being spam so Akismet learns.
