  Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to not have ‘0 comments’ show under each blog post. I can’t find this info anywhere. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you!

  The functionality is theme-specific and cannot be directly changed.

  Some themes do handle this different, including not listing the number if it’s 0.

  Quite a few, I recommend filtering down your options at https://wordpress.com/themes and then checking their demos, as most posts on the demos have no comments.

  I’m confused because I’m using the Rowling theme. I went to look at the template, and it does not show that it displays the number of comments on the main page. So, how do I even know if a theme is going to display that or not if it does not show on the template version?

  You have check each theme’s demo site. This is the only way.

  So you need to find a few themes that you like and check them one by one.
