comment email notificiations

  Becoming paranoid as to whether my email account or my blog had been hacked. I usually receive email notification for any comment pending approval AND any comment published (ones that do not need modding). Today, received 2 comments, which needed approval and there was NO notification in my email box.

  SO, I checked the discussion settings, they have not changed, the same is there (both boxed checked for notification).

  ANyone ?

  Sometimes email notifications are delayed and sometimes we find them in our email spam filters. Have you looked in your email spam filter?

  Thanks, I checked the spam, not there. will change my password, just in case. how long can the delay be, minutes, hrs ?

  Ive found the same thing as I don’t always get a comment notification. I’ve checked my settings and couldn’t see anything which needs changing. I’m assuming you are supposed to get notifications for all comments whether they are identified as spam or not.

It is filtered out so we do not risk clicking such links.
