Comment emails

  When a comment is posted I want it to be posted. Don’t want to have to approve it. Is there a way to bypass the approval? If in a roaming area I won’t be checking my emails very often. Don’t want my friends disappointed if they don’t see their comment

  If you go to Settings -> Discussion, then go down to Before a Comment Appears, remove both the ticks there, the top one requires all comments to be moderated, and the bottom one requires the author of the comment to have had at least one previously approved comment (which keeps spam and unwanted authors away). Allowing all comments through means that spam may appear on your blog, but you’ll just have to monitor that.

  Another option is to add a friend as an Editor and have the comment notifications sent to them
