Comment Feed in Modularity Lite?

This may be a non-issue… But outside of the Comments Widget, does Modularity Lite even HOST a Comments Feed feature? I’ve scoured the theme to no avail.

The current setup with “4 Comments” listed among a post’s tiny tags isn’t totally user-friendly, or discussion-friendly. :(

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    kilikinachappell.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.

Please post a link to the blog in question starting with http:// or link it to your username. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

This is not a theme dependent or associated issue. Every WordPress blog has multiple built-in feeds. The RSS feed URL for your comments is: http://kilikinachappell.wordpress.com/

my apologies, and thanks for the advice — one field was a leftover from an old name. should be linked correctly, now.

Thanks for that link. The information I provided above applies to that blog as well.
This is the RSS Feed URL for your posts http://serenityspell.wordpress.com/feed/
This is the RSS Feed URL for your comments http://serenityspell.wordpress.com/comments/feed/
Both feeds validate and are operating correctly.

If what you are referring to is actually the “4 Comments” link then know that you cannot alter the size of it without a custom design upgrade.

Unless one uses the P2 theme which is a Twitter-like theme the front pages of our blogs showcase content and comments are collapsed on that page. The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress. By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.

In a new blog one does not have many posts or comments. In an established blog if the comments did not collapse on the front page it would become a mile long in no time flat and page loading time is a page ranking factor. We have only seconds before visitors refuse to wait and click out.

thanks – i wasn’t refer to the font size of the comments reference, but the placement. IE, a hyperlink to another page in the tags feature.

some blogs have the comments listed below the post. modularity lite doesn’t even provide this option of listing the comments, thus my question. i figured i could switch back and forth to hyperlinking to another page, should the comments become too unwieldly and cause the page-loading issue. guess not.

    thanks.

On the front page of our blogs the posts are “showcased” and the comments are collapsed. This cannot be changed as the way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress.

Provided comments have not been disabled, if you click either the leave a comment link or the permalinked title to any post on any blog in any theme (except P2 as noted above) here at WordPress.com, then the post will display on it’s own page with all approved comments displaying below it.
