Comment fields on home page

  I have my blog on my home page. When someone posts a comment it doesn’t show under my blog entry. You have to click on a tiny bubble at the top of the entry to view the comments. I want the comments to be visible without having to click on another step. I’ve been through all the help suggestions and think everything is configured right – but they don’t show up. Help.
