comment function is not working

The comment function on my blog http://www.ExplorationVacation.net is not working correctly. A reader told me that when she tried to comment using her Twitter creditials (which is how she has commented in the past) it wouldn’t let her. It tells her there is a problem with security. At the same time I had my husband try to comment and he said it required him to log into his wordpress account in order to comment – something he has never had to do before. Other than my husband’s comment, I’ve had no comments on any of my posts since December 25, so I’m guessing that’s about when the problem started.
Please fix this!

Twitter was actually having some login issues recently, so maybe that affected this user.
Your husband would have been required to log in if the email address he supplied belonged to a WordPress.com account.
Can you ask that user to try using their Twitter log in again? It would be helpful if they could contact us directly if they’re still having trouble with this. They can do that by starting a new thread in the forums:

And add the tag “modlook” so staff will see it.

I will ask about the twitter log in.
My husband has NEVER been asked to log into word press in order to comment before. That was completely new, so something was going on.

If you let me know the email address he was using, I can take a look. The email address will be redacted from public view, but I’ll be able to see it.
