  How can I get rid of icons that show up with comments people leave on my entries? They’re a bit distracting.

  You can change your theme to something that doesn’t show avatars. Right now I believe there are several that don’t, but you’ll have to click around and find them, because it’s not something you can search for on the Design page.

  Avatars. So that’s what they’re called. I wasn’t even sure what term to search for! Thanks.

  You can also go to Settings -> Discussion in your dashboard and select the option for “Don’t Show Avatars.”
