Comment Likes will not switch off
-
Ive turned comment likes off but people are still liking comments. This is a great feature but when certain people like every solitary single comment you post it gets really annoying, really quickly.
If I have turned comment likes off, how come people are able to use them still?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

EDIT:
Ive looks at the blog and there is no option to “like” under the comments, so is this dependant on the settings of ther own blog?

Hi there!
Users are still able to “Like” comments through the Reader and notifications. The setting in your blog’s dashboard is for whether the “Like” button is displayed on your site.
Let me know if you have more questions about that!

Actually, another question on this. Am I able to turn this notification off? I have already turned off the E-mail me whenever anyone like a post, but I cannot seem to turn off when they like a comment. If this feature doesn’t exist can I please request that it be included. I am forever deleting emails from people that are liking comments, whilst I love that they are liking comments I don’t necessarily want to be emailed about every single one.

Since your comments can be on sites other than your own, you’ll find this setting in your account settings rather than your site’s settings:
https://wordpress.com/me/notifications
The first checkbox there will turn off email notification of comment likes.
Let me know if there’s anything else. :)
