  hi all, is there anyway that you can allow only certain ppl to comment? i guess i am suggesting a 5th role, commentator. ppl who are allowed to comment and edit their comments, but that is it. thanks.

  There is now way to limit who can comment on your blog except by making your blog private and then invite only the people you want to be able to comment.

  Au contraire, mon frère. You can set your comments so that they don’t go directly onto your blog, but are held in queue for moderation. You can check out each one either via your dashboard or your email inbox. Simply mark “approve” the ones you want to appear, delete or mark as spam the rest. Unless you have a blog with several dozen comments per day, it’s not much work.
