comment moderation of individual posts

Hi, my readers can comment without moderation if their very first comment on my blog has been approved, and that’s fine. However, I was wondering if these settings could be overridden for individual articles. Imagine one day I post something and want all the comments to be moderated (for a contest or game for example, and I don’t want readers to see other people’s answers): is there a way to do it?

Sorry, but there is only Allow/Disallow comments as an option on individual posts. Try using the Contact Form for this instead; it sends you emails nobody else can see.

Oh, I thought it existed somewhere. Must have been when I was using wordpress.org. Thanks for your help.

.ORG does not allow moderation settings for individual comments either unless there happens to be a plugin that provides that functionality. On each individual post, within wordpress (.COM or .ORG) you can turn comments off or on from within the post editor, but not set moderation individually.
