Comment notification emails broken

  Over the past couple of days, notification emails for COMMENTS have stopped being delivered to me. But I still get notification email for LIKES.

  I have not changed my preferences in the site Settings / Discussion menu, where all of the ’email me’ options are still checked:

  -mail me whenever
  Anyone posts a comment
  A comment is held for moderation
  Someone likes one of my posts
  Someone reblogs one of my posts
  Someone follows my blog

  What is happening and when will it be fixed?

  Hi @gastephen, I checked our email logs and can see some comment notifications are headed your way. If they aren’t appearing, can try searching your mail for wordpress.com? An “in:all WordPress.com” search can help depending on the mail provider.
