Comment notification malfunction

  I have moderated and read all comments on my blog and replied to them. But each time I refresh the stats page, I am shown a notification for fresh comment. The yellow dot! Am I missing something or is it just a glitch?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there! Have you tried clicking on the notification tab, then pressing on “unread” to filter out anything that could be causing that yellow dot?

  Yes, I did. It says “you’re all caught up”. That is the reason why it is so puzzling :D

  Agh that’s so frustrating! Have you tried clearing out your browser’s cache?

  Clearing the cache did not help either :(

  I encounter this as well from time to time. Clearing the cache and cookies should help, but nowadays I just ignore it as it usually goes away on its own after a day or two.

  Did you clear your WordPress.com browser cookies as well, or did you only clear the cache? If not, try that.

  I have tried everything. I think I am going to try and ignore it. That seems like the best bet :D

  If, after a couple of days it still hasn’t gone away, let us know here and add “modlook” to the tags to alert staff to this issue. Then they’ll look into it for you.
