Comment notifications

  Hi there,

  I have my settings asking to be emailed when someone comments on my post and I have the settings so that comments can be posted without me having to approve them first. However, I’m not receiving emails when someone posts and it’s also still making me approve them first.

  Do you know why this is?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There are two possibilities for the comments issue: 1) The emails may have ended up in your spam folder. 2) Your settings are wrong regarding which emails you receive when someone comments on your site.

  As far as having to approve comments, use the link below to make sure you turned off (made gray) the slider that says ‘Comment must be manually approved’.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, the emails aren’t in my Spam folder and I had the settings correct like you mentioned.

  Not sure what else it could be.
