Comment on Showcase Page?

  I use the Twenty Eleven theme with a static page. On my Reading Settings > Static Page, I have a Front page (showing sticky/featured posts titled “showcase”) and a Posts page for the blog (titled “blog”).

  An e-mail notified me of a new comment, stating a “New comment on your post ‘showcase'”. How does that happen? I can’t find the actual comment on my blog or through the links from the e-mail message:

  I can find it under Dashboard > Pages and Dashboard > Comments, but nowhere through the links provided in the e-mail notification.

  I’m stumped.
