Comment privacy

  Is it possible for a comment to be private i.e. between the commenter and the author of the post?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It currently isn’t possible for a comment to remain private only to the author of the post. By default, when a comment is approved, it can be seen by any reader that has the permissions to view that particular blog post. The only way this would be possible is if the comment entered moderation (where it would need to be approved by the blog owner) and the owner never approved it.

  If you’re looking to send a private message to a blog owner, I would recommend using a contact form instead if possible!
