Comment Problems

Had comments open on my page. One comment and one response from me. The page currently does not show that comments are available and the two original are missing. When I access my comments in the Dashboard, and try to reply to the original thread, it shows a 404 response. What happened?

There are some widespread problems that staff are working to correct right now. Please be patient.

Ok, thanks. That’s just one of the problems I’ve encountered, I thought it might be the computer.

Same here my comments show when I did use the dashboard functions.But they do not show on my blog nor can readers access them.Neither the comment count nor the comment itself display.Although they do register in the sidebar widget(recent comments).Even there if one clicks the comment the particular post its attached to will show,but the comments themselves do not.
So I am assuming this is also related to the problems staff are working on.
This as been going on for a couple days now,first my blogroll did not show(that seems to be fixed now)now my comments.

I am having multiple problems similar to the one described here as well as problems with links appearing and disappearing from my site. Also categories/tags that migrate from one entry to another. I noticed the problems starting day before yesterday but since I am brand new at the blogging deal, they could have been present all along and I just noticed them. Also the stats seem to be messed up from time to time.

They are brand-new problems that started late on Friday. This is not normal for WordPress.com. They always seem to do their messing with the code on the weekends, when usage is down, which would be very well except support is closed then and we get a hundred threads in the forums looking for help when only staff can provide that. I know they’re working on solving the issues, but it would be good if they’d put someone on Support when they’re doing stuff like this.

Yes, my last 2 posts list “no Comments,” however yesterdays post I have 5 comments and 2 for my post late today. Hmmm… haven’t noticed anything else amiss though.

Reading through all the various forum posts and replies on comment problems, I can’t find one similar to mine. I’m posting here as this thread seems to be the most recent.
My problem is that I don’t want the Comments tag to show up under my posts at all. I’ve disabled under Options-Discussion and also under each post and page. Yet, when I go to my site view, I still see the “Comments: No Comments” hyperlink. I would like this link to disappear from all posts. The hyperlink is gone from the pages, so what I did there (identical to what I did for posts) did work.

Still having problems with Comments on my Page: http://amjur.wordpress.com/alleged-child-porn-victims-identified-as-adults-prosecutor-ignores-evidence-insists-they-are-pre-teens-and-proceeds-with-prosecution/ Took it off as a Front Page and ever since problems. No comment box although it is enabled. No comments shown, although there are two that should be. Commenting is availble on my Post, which is now the front page.
