-
Hi,
I have 2 blogs at the moment under the same wordpress account.
It looks like I have the same reader for both sites.
My question is – if I like or comment on someone else’s website, and they click on my icon – which of my websites will they be redirected to?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @gabrielcollage,
I have 2 blogs at the moment under the same wordpress account. It looks like I have the same reader for both sites. You can have multiple blogs on your account and manage as many blogs under the same account. You will have one reader which will enable you to follow and manage the sites you have. You can learn more about it here:
My question is - if I like or comment on someone else's website, and they click on my icon - which of my websites will they be redirected to?As of now clicking on your profile leads the users to https://gabrielcollage.wordpress.com/. You can manage the information you would like the users to see from your Profile page. The section “Profile Links” will help you to manage the site link of your display profile. Here is the support document to help with the details further:
Hope this helps, let me know any further questions.
Thanks!

Hello there, they will be directed to the site you have listed on your Account page at https://wordpress.com/me/account under “Web Address.”
Let us know if you have any other question about this.

Hello @anthonymcgreat – Thanks for your help here. Configuring your “Primary/Main Site” under account settings doesn’t change the site that appears when someone clicks on your username.
Here’s what it says just below the “Web Address” line in Account Settings,
“Shown publicly when you comment on blogs.”
and that web address doesn’t need to be your “Primary/Main” website, though it would make sense if they were the same.

Thank you! This has been really helpful :)
Just a quick follow-up question – what if I wanted people to be redirected to my first blog on certain days and to my second blog on other days? I want to keep my blogs and the followers for them really separate.
Could I go into account settings and quickly change over my web address on days I want people to see my second blog, not my first? Or would that maybe not update quick enough?

Hello again, While I was testing this the changes to my website URL here in the forums were immediate.
Regarding comments on sites: changing your Web Address will only change the link on new comments; already published comments will still show the old link. In the long run, however, you may find it more convenient to split your websites to be under two separate accounts.
